# Accessibility Statement

**Placeful** is committed to making its booking platform accessible to all users, in line with the **European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882)** as implemented in Italy by **D.Lgs. 82/2022**, which applies to e-commerce services — including online booking flows — since 28 June 2025.

## Conformance target

The application targets **WCAG 2.1 Level AA**, including:

- keyboard-navigable booking flows and widget
- visible focus indicators and accessible names on interactive controls
- sufficient color contrast in light and dark themes
- responsive layouts usable at 320px width and up to 400% zoom
- form fields with associated labels and error identification
- reduced-motion support where animations are used

## Known limitations

- Some third-party content (e.g. embedded payment pages served by Stripe) is outside our direct control.
- The application is continuously evolving; some legacy views may not yet fully meet the conformance target.
