v2.5.1 Fix

Placeful 2.5.1 — daily capacity pools & booking reliability

Highlights

  • Daily capacity pools — venues, areas and events can share a per-day guest cap; bookings charge the pool at checkout, widgets and OTA feeds read it live, and staff see projected usage per day.
  • Booking reliability under load — channel bookings (Reserve with Google, OTA, assistant, MCP) route to the correct bookable leaf again, expired card holds can no longer revive over sold capacity, and late card saves on free bookings re-check availability before confirming.
  • Safer structural edits — moving a booked event or flipping a seat from flexible to fixed mode now validates demand against the daily pools first; re-dating onto a full day is rejected unless explicitly accepted (accept_pool_overage in the API).

Fixes

  • Widget availability matches the server: day and window bounds replace stale cached capacity, so areas and multi-day events stop showing a false "sold out".
  • Pending refunds reserve both the original and the target window, pinned tables included — a re-date no longer opens an overbooked slot.
  • Series edits propagate daily-pool participation to member events; sync API placement times sent with UTC offsets are stored in the venue timezone.

Privacy

  • The public availability channel no longer advertises hidden events or non-widget areas; staff keep the full list on the private channel.
  • Staff day notes stay out of the company archive export while remaining part of the deletion plan.
