v2.8.0 New

Placeful 2.8 — no-show refunds, partner statements, movement ledger & payout fix

Highlights

  • No-show & late-payment recovery — staff can refund a no-show fee straight from the booking editor; no-show and late-payment disputes are recorded and the owner is alerted.
  • Partner statements that keep their proof — a settled month now keeps the amounts that were actually paid; later changes show the difference. Event, time and seat bookings are all included, and month navigation is fixed.
  • Financial reports that match the bank — totals are now net of refunds and disputes, and the XLSX export is a movement ledger: every payment and refund is kept as its own row instead of only the latest state.
  • Payout marking fixed — bookings covered by a Stripe payout are now correctly marked paid out; refunds after a payout require an explicit override.

Fixes

  • Calendar month-end navigation — the booking calendar no longer jumps past month-end when moving between months.
  • Billing usage credits — cancellations now reverse metered usage correctly, including late cancellations, retries and subscriptions still in trial.
  • Platform fee by plan — free, grandfathered and metered plans no longer charge the per-booking platform fee; account-level overrides still apply.
  • Stripe refund webhooks — refund webhooks are protected against cross-account payloads, and dependencies received security updates.
